Corporate Governance

INGENIUM is currently developing a corporate governance statement.

INGENIUM needs to comply with the New Zealand Stock Exchange best practice codes, the Incorporated Societies Act and Generally Accepted Accounting Practices. The structure of INGENIUM is complex and as INGENIUM has charitable tax status, careful governance needs to be maintained so as to protect this status.

Code of Ethics
The INGENIUM Board has prepared a draft code of ethics for consideration by members. This code of ethics is based upon the IPENZ code, but with adjustments to reflect the link that INGENIUM members have with communities. All INGENIUM members are involved with communities due to their respective roles in the engineering and management of public infrastructure.
