The Electricity Commission will soon be holding workshops to introduce the new, online resource for achieving optimal standards, designs and technical solutions for cost-effective Road Lighting - developed in conjunction with councils, NZTA, road lighting experts and members of the AS/NZS 1158 Standards committee.
The resource will soon be available on RightLight.govt.nz and will be invaluable for planning and implementing upgrades of existing road lighting and public-space lighting, and ensuring efficient lighting solutions for new installations. The workshop will familiarise attendees with the assessment tools, calculators and other features of the website and how they can be applied.
The Commission recently invited expressions of interest for the workshops - but were unable to send you a workshop postcard as we don't have your mailing address. A copy of the postcard is attached.
We will be mailing out workshop invitations next week. If you are interested in attanding a workshop and would like to receive an invitation, I'd be grateful if you could let me know your address details. That'll enable me to add you to our contact database so that we can update you on what's happening.
