AECOM Awards

AECOM AWARDS, 2011
We are very pleased to join with AECOM once again, in 2011, to offer the AECOM Awards.
In keeping with the demands and challenges of the future, this year’s AECOM Awards focus on:

·     future leaders, and

·     development of knowledge in infrastructure and asset management.

To qualify for these Awards you must be a current member of INGENIUM and be employed full-time in a local authority or an organisation that owns and manages infrastructural assets (eg NZTA). Applicants for the Young Leaders Award must be 40 years of age or less on 31 December 2011.

AECOM Young Leaders Award
AECOM in partnership with NZ Institute of Management (Southern) provides an all expenses paid Award (with a value in excess of $9000) for attendance at a NZIM (Southern) management development programme which is held at the Copthorne Commodore Hotel near Christchurch Airport (ie away from the area that was adversely affected by the recent earthquakes). This year applicants may choose between 2 management development programmes. These 2 programmes are: (a) ESCO – Personal Discovery, and (b) Excellence in Management.

This Award provides the opportunity for INGENIUM members to develop the skills and expertise necessary to enhance their senior management capability. For more information on these courses please go to the NZIM (Southern) website (http://www.nzimsouthern.co.nz) and click on TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT, then on TRAINING PLANNER, then on either “ESCO – Personal Discovery” or “Excellence in Management”.

In order to apply for this award you would need to be available to attend a programme that runs after the 2011 INGENIUM Conference but before the end of 2011. The award includes the 1 week management programme, accommodation and meals, but excludes the cost of travel to and from Christchurch.

These Awards are consistent with INGENIUM’s long term objectives of developing leadership and supporting the professional development needs of its members for the benefit of the communities we serve.
